marvelosity reigns

Behind the scenes home tours feed my on the QT, clandestine peeping Lynn sweet tooth; however when the dwellings look like these it becomes  a sure fired exposure disclosure.  I first found Curt and Jessica's blog through Jennifer's space called I Art U; well worth a visit, it's an awesome stop off filled with design incredibles. I was blown away after seeing both their guest posts; my interest piqued and a click through to Grizzly Bear Modern followed. A complete smash from start to finish! The post that caught my attention big time was about their "Bear Cave", a new bungalow they'd moved into that has obviously received some good lovin'; affecting change within its walls. Pretty much my dream environment and would you get a load of the barber's chair, it's outta control!! Great-minds who think alike, accomplish exceptional results, write a really ace blog and have a thing for succulents - it's the greaterest. I'm crazy about the way they arranged the fireplace, with the black vases and pictures inside - also the vintage dresser planter idea has clever, cool & charming written all over it. Have a boo at what I mean, YWRI (you won't regret it)

Another amazing interior that had my head spinning with insp is the new bash, please office - so pretty! Since moving there in January, they've been filling it up with loads of goodness, making themselves feel right at home...surrounded by a space teeming with personal style. The girls husbands even got in on the handiwork; painting, art hanging and light fixturing till the final results were in.

These gals put together incredible events from start to stupendous finish and also share the succulent love. Kelly + Paige are all about weddings in corn fields, photo booth fun, dance partay's till the wee hours and confetti cannon blow outs!!! but as their website states, they DO NOT go for Marriott ballrooms or polyester table cloths - i loved that total.

adore that dresser of succulents...wow! I would never be able to try this at home (in fact it should come with a warning!)...I am the proud mama to a total of 5 house plants. Most of them are doing well, but my youngest, newest member of my "green" clan wasn't watered as often as he would have like to be (shame on me!) and I am now preforming mouth-to-leaf resuscitation (it is too soon to tell if he will make it...fingers cross for my green baby! :))

Oh...and Lynn, my darling...you WON my vintage Vera scarf giveaway...eppers! See the update ("proof in the puddin'") here:

This post makes me wish I had even an ounce of talent for decorating... The fact is I'll never know if I do, because when it comes to a choice between spending my money on clothes and spending my money on anything else, clothes always win :) This is a beautiful post, though; I positively adore the drink cart decorated with crystal-ware. It reminds me of something I had for my Victorian dollhouse when I was little, only vastly more chic!
