shower for an hour

growing up, one of my most vivid memories was loud banging on the bathroom door followed by my Dad suggesting i might have just floated away down river since the water had been running for so long ; )   in all seriousness though, i DO love a loooooooooong shower sesh but it has got to be the right flow otherwise it's no fun to bask under the H2O element....know what i mean?  does the man in your life threaten to shut off the water too??!  well, the boyf doesn't completely get my passion for a power packed blast of aqua naturale nor does he need to, it's my thing and i'm sticking to it!

one thing Sean does like is research, he'll source you out the BEST anything after hours spent looking around the www in order to determine the exact item to fit your need. this time we DID need a new shower head - REAL BAD! ours had had the bun and after buying, testing and returning (YES, he is thorough!) countless models (3) we settled on the epitome of shower time bliss...

THE FLIPSIDE by Kohler

no kidding folks, this thing has revolutionized our shower experience so give me a break if i'm spouting (pun intended) off overtime about it. 4 different settings, each with its own adorable name like:

who could blame me for voicing my undying love! Kotton is our faved setting. life changing okay and also Kohler has some really slick advertising, dig this for example:

Jerry Seinfeld's infamous "low-flow" episode would be something you'd never have to go through again upon purchasing this baby. take my word for it, it's solid showering GOLD! ♥

* dress-up deets: lace detailed shirt-zara, cords-gap, shoes-tessa clogs, socks-hue, ring-? (similar) *

super shout out to Samuel Killermann for an amazing Saturday Night Live Host Bumper Headshot Tutorial!!! i'd been stumped about how these awesome images were created and thanks to him i was able to dabble in a 1st attempt myself. can't wait to try some varied effects soon too - yah! (by the way... this is the ONLY decent tutorial i could find for these types of renders, thank goodness for Samuel is all i can say!)

i LOVE long showers too! I think I get away with it because water has always been included in my condo's maintenance fees. In those moments of long relaxing showers all the water conservation, save the planet stuff escapes me! :)

That shower head looks awesome! I may have to track one down.

The hour long shower is such a guilty pleasure... And if you're going to indulge, you have to do it right, and this flipside showerhead is definitely doing it right. I hope you'll get to enjoy lots of long and relaxin times with your new gadget :)

How creepy would it be if I just showed up at your house one day with a towel in hand? And then you know...showered?? Cause I REALLY want to. I'm still obsessed with long showers, no one can take them away from me! Love this post Lynn, made me laugh!

Eep, such a cool idea for a showerhead! I've always wanted a big shower with two outlets so I don't have to pick which side gets wet, hehe...

(And thank you for your concerned comment on my blog! I am fine :) My host is having some issues so some people are seeing a very old version of my site. Hoping it will be fixed soon!).

Ok you have convinced me! This would make my twenty minute shower sessions all the better. (I am with you with the long showers! The best way to unwind!)

The packaging alone got my attention! And too funny because Gabe is a research master. He won't buy anything until he has researched the heck out of it! And lucky for us we know we are getting the best of the best;)

P.S. I have been dying for some yellow pants but haven't found some that fit well yet. I did find coral which I have been loving!

This is adorable! I love that you devoted a post to shower heads. In fact, perfect timing, I need a new one! The one that came with our apt is turning icky. I want something that makes me feel like I'm in a spa. I think I'll have to go with one of your picks!

Forget about you standing in the shower and being all quirky. Girl, you look like a million dollars! The colour use in that outfit. Oh my goodness, it is like sunshine on toast!

You look absolutely stunning dear, and as always I love visiting your blog and always having something to read. Your posts are very inspiring, and amusing, to say the least!

And long showers are the best, that is where I get countless ideas from. I actually wrote a post about it once. I hope you have a superb day!

This looks like heaven! Gosh, I might never want to come out of the shower. Now I'm really feeling an itch to go on the hunt for this at my local Lowe's...hehe. I'll have to put it on the honey do list most certainly...not that it's a major need, but a major want :) Cute as ever Lynn...your photos are so silly and sweet and always brighten my day! Happy weekend darling gal! xx Marisa

Confession: I read this post when it first went up and am finally getting around to comment (how sad!) :)

Hooray for new household toys! I had to laugh when I read this post b/c Andy and I recently bought a new vacuum with super hero suction. We were both so excited and impressed with the new machine that we practically fought over who would "get" to vacuum :) (it is a GREAT vacuum).

Love your incorporating a gratuitous outfit post into the mix too ... your yellow jeans are awesome and they coordinate perfectly with that ring! Always excited to see your pretty smiling face :)
