unconventional swagger

Think playful whimsy, snappy pleats, peppy sass & folkloric narratives and you've got a slight comprehension for what YEASHIN is all about. 1st spotted on Muuse, Yeashin Kim's designs caught my eye straight away. She's a London living, clothing creative whose brand balance is an absolute saga of cohesive mixtures. I adore the color story palette in her most recent collection which "takes its inspiration from South Korean old traditional landscape paintings of the East country side."

She personally sites England in the 60's mixed with Korea’s more historic take on fashion as her influence. I'm not sure who does her art direction but I'm spellbound by her photographic features...gorgeous to the max!!!  So, this is like Valleyspeak for I kinda love it all a big bunch!

I love the green dress! I love how all the pieces have a sense of fairy tail to them, at least to me.

the second set of pictures in particular are just heaven to me, such a great find and some colourful inspiration that my dreary February wardrobe has been needing!
(loving the geometric font btw!)

Whoa! I gotta tell you lades, it would take a lot to make my eyes pop today... I just spent eight hours at the Paris fabric fair, an epic event full of prints and colours you can only imagine and still, when I saw this post, I was blown away by all the beautiful brights and unique silhouettes. You have such an eye for different and fun things, which is part of what makes your blog so fun to read. Yeashin may not quite fit in my wardrobe, but from an inspiration perspective, this post is AMAZE.
